Business License Division
The Building and Safety Division enforces the provisions of the adopted Building and Safety Code, Uniform Building Code, California Building Code, and applicable laws and ordinances for the design construction, alteration, moving, demolition, repair and use of any building or structure within the City, except work located in a public right-of-way. The Division also issues building permits and performs site inspections to ensure compliance with pertinent codes, laws and ordinances.
