Community/Transit Center

Lynwood Community/Transit Center is located at 11301 Bullis Road in the City of Lynwood. The Center has an 8,000 square foot, air-conditioned gymnasium with open play Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It also has a racquetball court which is available Monday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There is a fee rate of $2.00 per person, per hour. Individuals must provide their own racquetball equipment. All racquetball court reservations must be made in advance. To make a reservation call (310) 603-0220, ext. 319.

The following leisure sports programs are operated out of the Community/Transit Center.

Baseball
The Baseball Program allows youth to learn the fundamentals of baseball in a safe and fun environment. Boys and girls ages 5 to 16 years can participate in the program. Registration begins in January, with games scheduled to start April 1st. Also Winter Baseball is played from August through November.

Soccer (AYSO)
Youth Soccer (AYSO) registration begins in July for boys and girls from ages 4 to 18 years. All league games are played from August through January.

United States Junior Tennis
Tennis registration begins in July and runs through August for boys and girls ages 8 to 16 years.

Adult Basketball League (18 years and Up)
The Adult Basketball League is played on Fridays at 6:00 p.m., Saturdays at 2:00 p.m., Sundays at 9:00 a.m. with rotating team schedules in the Lynwood Community Center gymnasium located at 11301 Bullis Road.

Adult Softball (18 years and Up)
The Adult Softball League plays on the new Lynwood City Park sports complex on Sundays at 1:30 p.m. on Diamond #1. Currently the league has six (6) teams and is looking forward to acquiring more teams. For more information call (310) 886-0426.
