Please note that trash is delayed one day following the holiday (example if regular day is Monday and holiday falls on Monday trash will be picked up on Tuesday).
Street weeping will be skipped the week of holiday and return to regular schedule the following week. (Example Monday holiday there will be no sweeper that week)

How do I get rid of large items such as furniture and appliances?
Consolidated Disposal Service 1-800-299-4898 has services for the residents of Lynwood every Thursday residents must call by Wednesday 5:00pm to place orders to have bulky pick up with a total of five (5) items per week (e.g. sofas, mattresses, washers rolled up carpet)

Where can I take old paint, used TV’s and other hazardous materials?
The residents of Lynwood have two options, items can be taken to a S.A.F.E.COLLECTION CENTER located at 2649 E. Washington Blvd. Los Angeles, Ca. 90021 open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 3:00 pm or they can call 1-800 988-6942 or 1-800-98 TOXIC for information for the nearest Hazardous Waste Round-up.

My water meter is leaking, whom do I call?

Who do I contact to my water turned on or off?
Depending on situation if new account resident must go to Water Billing to open an account and get water turned on. If there is a problem with a leak in plumbing they should call Utility Services to turn off water at extension 800.
