Parking Enforcement
The City of Lynwood, Parking Enforcement Division enforces the Lynwood Municipal Code and California Vehicle Code citywide in an effort to improve compliance with parking regulations.
When vehicles are parked in violation of a posted regulation, a parking citation may be issued. Please check the Lynwood Municipal Code for all parking ordinances in the City of Lynwood.
Parking Enforcement provides enforcement coverage includes enforcement of disabled parking spaces, fire hydrants, lawn parking and 72 hour parking. In addition, support service is also provided to enforce parking restrictions during special events, scheduled street maintenance, and street sweeping.
Contesting a Citation
An "Initial Review" may be requested to contest a citation if it is done within 21 calendar days of issuance of a "Notice of Parking Violation," or 14 days of the notice mailing date. To place a request, request an Initial Review Form explaining the reasons you are contesting the citation.

Deliver your appeal:
In person to: 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, CA 90262 (Counter hours are from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday).
By mail to: City of Lynwood, Parking Enforcement Division, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, CA 90262.
Initial review requests must be postmarked by the citation due date. The process may take 4 weeks, during which time the citation will be on hold. The citation will not accrue late and delinquent fees. Results of the appeal will be mailed to you.
